Opening up on January 8, 2009, Leap Year stars Amy Adams as Anna, who travels all the way to Dublin, Ireland to propose to her boyfriend Jeremy on February 29, Leap Day. According to Irish legend a man can’t say no to a proposal on Leap Day. After her plain is redirected, Anna has to enlist the help of a surly Irish innkeeper Declan, to make a cross country trek to pull off the proposal in time. But will Anna change her mind along the way?
