Legend of the Guardians
Soren, a young barn owl, is kidnapped by the owls of St. Aggie’s, ostensibly an orphanage, where owlets are brainwashed into becoming soldiers. He and his new friends escape to the island of Ga’Hoole, to assist its noble, wise owls who fight the army being created by the wicked rulers of St. Aggie’s. This alagorical film is based on the first three books in a young adult series by Kathryn Lasky. The owls are voiced by a cast which includes Emilie De Ravin, Helen Miren, Hugo Weaving, and Geoffrey Rush. The animated adventure is set to open on September 24, 2010.

How to Train Your Dragon
A hapless young Viking who aspires to hunt dragons becomes the unlikely owner of a young dragon himself, and learns there may be more to the creatures than he assumed. The voice cast includes Gerard Butler, Craig Fergusan, Jonah Hill, and Christopher Mintz-Plasse and is opening this friday, March 26, 2010.
